About Me
Welcome to Right On Time Music Reviews! On this site there will be music reviews of all kinds, ranging from hardcore punk to instrumental albums. When it comes to my own musical tastes, there really isn’t one. I tend to favor music that is truly art. Not to say that I am any kind of elitist, I’ll give almost anything a shot. Notice I said almost since I have no patience for people who don’t write their own music or play their own instruments. My litmus test for a band/artist is their performance in a live setting. If they sound the same live as on the album, then they pass my test. Anyone can use Pro-Tools and make a decent sounding album in the studio, so its those who can perform live that set themselves apart.
Now for a little about me…my name is Carl and I am a 2009 graduate of Fairfield University with a degree in English/Journalism. I have loved music pretty much my entire life, with my tastes changing with my life experiences. My first actual concert was in 2002 when I saw Glasseater and Bayside headlining at a VFW Hall in Pequannock, NJ. Since then, I have been to a decent amount of concerts, and hope to get to more. The best band I have seen live was a tie between RX Bandits and Bob Dylan.
Whether your new to my Blog or have moved over with me from Blogspot, I just wanted to thank you for reading, and hopefully this Blog facilitates some great discussion on music!

Well Mr. Quinn—Thank you very much for the kind words. I guess in some ways I am the man…in what ways I don’t know. Regardless, I do indeed have questions about your statement, however those are for another day. Thanks again Petey….
